26^th Championship Show

Marlene and Dot would like to thank all those who helped to make our show go so well. We would especially like to thank those who helped to set the hall up on Friday afternoon despite the warm weather when they may have preferred to soak up the rays. We do so much depend on our band of volunteers both before during and after the show. Special thanks to Miggie Ravenscroft who kept everyone fed and watered, Kate Kaye who had to cope with a post operative husband but still managed to run the table effectively, the rosette and trophy teams who both ensured smooth running of these areas. All members of the committee who provided the backbone of our team of stalwart helpers. We would also like to thank Jean and Trevor Turner who gave so generously of their time and who managed the vetting in so efficiently as always despite a number of pet passports to deal with as we had some exhibits from the continent. Not least we would like to thank our exhibitors without whom we would have no show. It was a new venue for us and many had to travel further than in the past, although for a few it was an easier journey.
